Themodesse is a contemporary womenswear label guided by mindful design, conscious choices, and quiet elegance. Rooted in sustainability, we create timeless silhouettes using natural, Indian-made fabrics designed to feel breathable, effortless, and enduring.
Our journey toward sustainability is intentional and evolving. We consciously choose to work only with natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, khadi, and handloom textiles while stepping away from polyester and other synthetic materials. By doing so, we honour both the body and the environment, allowing each garment to age gracefully while reducing long-term impact.
In our effort to eliminate plastic at every possible stage, we have replaced conventional plastic buttons with fabric-made buttons, keeping our designs aligned with our values. Even the smallest details matter to us such as our price tags are seed-infused, allowing them to be planted and grown rather than discarded, and our labels are made using cotton instead of synthetic satin.
We design and produce in small batches, focusing on quality over quantity and mindful production over excess. Each piece is thoughtfully constructed, with clean lines, subtle details, and a balance of structure and softness meant to be worn, re-worn, and lived across seasons.

Our Story
Themodesse was founded by Samruddhi Jain at the age of 22, as a conscious step toward a more sustainable and thoughtful fashion practice. A fashion design graduate, Samruddhi envisioned a brand that reflected not only her design sensibilities but also her personal values in particular rootedness, restraint, and intentional living.
The brand is a direct reflection of who she is. Drawn to natural fabrics, understated silhouettes, and refined detailing, her approach to design is intuitive and honest. Each piece is imagined with care while allowing the fabric to lead, the form to remain effortless, and the details to feel subtle yet meaningful.
Themodesse was never meant to be loud or excessive. Instead, it embraces calmness, balance, and longevity. The collections are created in small batches, prioritizing quality over quantity, and mindful choices over mass production.
More than a label, Themodesse is an evolving journey, one that celebrates slow fashion, conscious choices, and clothing that feels grounded, elegant, and true to the woman who wears it.
